Our Goal is to Impact and Enhance the lives of 1,000 inner-city youth before the end of 2009. To Accomplish this life-saving mission, we MUST have an additional 100 committed, trained leaders.

- Tutoring/Mentoring/Merit Badge and Achievements Counseling
- Phone Calls - Friends of Scouting (FOS), and other campaigns
- Distinguised Citizen Dinner - Chair, Co-Chair, Table Hosts, Call Downs, etc.

- VOLunteer Power - workers at UT Games

According to the website College Parents of America, only 1 out of 35 High School basketball players make it to the college level and only 1 in 3,000 (.o3 percent) will play professionally, 1 out of 17 High School football players make it to the college level and only 1 in 1,100 (5.7 percent) will play professionally. However: Out of 100 boys that join scouting, 18 will develop a lifelong hobby, 8 will enter a vocation learned from a Merit Bade and 35% will graduate college. Clearly, Scouting is a GREAT way to invest in the life of a youth. Remember: Boys are the only thing that God uses to build men and it is far better that we build boys now than have to mend men later!
